The private mails you get that your not interested in are mass PM's sent to everyone, theres no option, everyone gets it. Most of the time its used by mistake. I get them too, i just disregard the ones that dont concern me.

Regarding posts being removed, its one of the admin/mods that do it. If any of your posts are removed without you requesting for them too then they have been removed for a reason that should be fairly obious i.e abusive, its up to the person that removed it to PM you if they see fit. Anyway sometimes posts just dont confirm or glitch, ive posted up stuff thats dissapeared before :s thats prob what happend in your case (unless you have seen replys to your posts).

when posts get deleted by admin/mods there saved in a log but only the admin can see it so you wil need to ask them if you posts have been deleted.

Connor cheers for the pm.

The post that went missing was in this thread...

viewtopic.php?f=17&t=4894

i put up a post with a link to a thread on another Subaru forum about a large meet taking place at the Falkirk Wheel in the summer as i thought it would be of interest to most people. I cant mind the exact time or date of the post but it was after Shedrool83's post as you can see some of the replys after his post dont make sense as they say they will be there but the original topic has no date / time or location fixed yet.

Mike i am never abusive on forums and i thought it would just be good manners to notify the poster as to why a post was removed so to highlight the reason and to stop it happening again .

Cheers Paul. :D

Paul

I have checked the logs and spoke to the moderator in question and it looks like the post was removed in error and they didn't know how to retrieve the post.

I'm assuming you are on about the SIDC Falkirk Wheel meet. I never personally seen the post but the only way we would remove a post in regards to another club if it was something like "go to this meet its better bla bla bla" but obviously i know the post wasn't it was just removed in error mate.

Hopefully it won't happen again mate.

Reguarding the mass pm's Paul, i tend to send event ones out to all reg users, sorry these go to everyone, there is no way of excluding you, if these are the ones your talking about that dont interest you. Anyway if you get any from me that you don't want i will apologise now but unfortunately i cant exclude you ;)
